We're forming a habit of cycling 25 miles before taking a lunch break. After achieving this mileage, we visited Schatzi’s Restaurant in Evansville. There, we savored salads, protein, and multiple beverages, including water, coffee, and lemonade. I particularly enjoyed the salad. Donald's soup was tasty, albeit a bit salty, resulting in a dry tongue.

| Big Ole |
Our next stop was Big Ole in Alexandria, an enormous Viking statue. In the immediate vicinity, we struck up a conversation with a couple about road trips, among other topics. I've found the people of Minnesota to be incredibly kind. Before leaving town, we made a pitstop at a gas station for Gatorade and enjoyed a few bananas.
The weather began to shift as we made a stop at Brothers Market in Osakis for dinner supplies. I lingered in the restroom as thunder began to rumble outside.

| Ahead of the Storm |
We raced against the impending storm to reach our destination, Linwood Campground. Unfortunately, we were caught in a torrential downpour just before reaching the site. Donald powered through, while I sought cover under a tree to don my rain gear. We regrouped at the site and waited out the deluge under a campground porch.
The campsite was exceptionally nice, boasting a view overlooking Lake Osakis. The host was amiable and the shower facilities were excellent.

The only issue we faced was a raccoon attack at 2:30 AM. Donald swatted the creature that was attempting to snack on his food next to his tent, sending it scrambling up a tree located between our tents. I relocated my food from my front basket to my rear pannier. After falling asleep, I had vivid dreams about wild raccoon attacks.
We covered fifty-eight miles today.
